  Master of Tourism Studies(MTS)
 
 Course Program Objectives
The MTS Program provides students an intense exposure to the tourism arena coupled with management skills & knowledge. The program develops critical abilities & analytical skills among students to efficiently manage private & public sectors of tourism.
 Course Program Composition

The program comprises of four semesters of six months each with a total of 66 credits. Each credit is equivalent to 30 hours. Besides class room teaching, the credit hours carried by the program also comprises of all learning activities (i.e. reading & comprehending the print material, listening audio, watching video, role plays, group assignments etc.)The MTS course comprises of  plethora of management subjects along with core tourism subjects as below:

Classroom lectures and tutorials using audiovisual aids such as powerpoint presentations videos, overhead projectors etc. case studies with assignments, industrial orientation, field trips, excursion to establishments / locations as per the curricular requirement and talk programs, workshops and seminars arranged / conducted at regular intervals.

Highly experienced at national and international level, fully dedicated, energetic and well-qualified faculty members are appointed. They possess knowledge and skills required to be imparted for efficient operation and management of both private and public sectors of tourism.
 Eligibility for admission
Bachelors degree in Travel & Tourism or Hotel Management, or Bachelor degree in any discipline with two years of in-service experience in travel & tourism or hotel at middle level.
 Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidate for MTS program will be made on the basis of entrance exam as per the criteria laid down by the university and interview conducted by the academy.
