Shortage of qualified and well-versed personnel to serve the tourism sector is one of the major problems that Nepal is encountering in its strife to build an efficiently operational and managed tourism private and public sectors.
Kathmandu Academy of Tourism and Hospitality (KATH) has designed course programs for aspiring professionals in travel, tourism and hospitality management. The course programs are designed in semesters /credit system to suit the students time and budget following international standards.
Choosing the right career can be a daunting task, students must be facing dilemma of whether he/ she should take up a job after his/ her studies or obtain professional training/ education. Good training /education today holds key to students ‘ future success. To prepare for the students ‘ career , however he/ she needs enthusiasm and dedication.
We treat each of our students as an individual and take care to ensure that the students’ time with us is successful and useful.

Introduction
Kathmandu Academy of Tourism and Hospitality (KATH) has been established to fulfill the urgent need of trained human resource to the need of rapidly emerging key sector of national economy “Tourism”. As its overall goal, the academy fully dedicates to maintaining excellence of knowledge and skills required to efficiently operate and manage both the private public sectors of tourism. It possesses a pool of well qualified and committed faculty members. The Academy has been established with a guiding maxim of
“ Tourism For Prosperity and Peace."
